The simple answer is: Platinum is just more premium. The hotel, events and type of costume were all chosen with this in mind. Platinum package holders enjoy a 4-star, 8-night hotel stay, premium inclusive events where we provide liquor even if the promoter doesn’t and of course the DDI private yacht event on Ash Wednesday that is food and liquor inclusive. It’s been tailored to those that always want the best.

Most definitely. Our package has been crafted to support solo and group travelers alike. Our first timers will always be moving together so you will not be having this experience alone. Not only will you be able to meet like-minded Carnival Newbies, but you’ll also have a CTTI liaison available to answer your questions and immediately deal with any issues that may arise. You can choose gold or platinum on your individual registration form.

Most definitely. Our package has been crafted to support solo and group travelers alike. Your group will be part of the larger CTTI crew, allowing you to meet other like-minded Carnival Newbies. In addition, you’ll have a CTTI liaison available to answer your questions and immediately deal with any issues that may arise.

We consider a group to be 2-6 persons, however, if your crew is bigger than 6, you can fill out multiple group registration forms selecting the same person as your ‘point of contact’. You can choose gold or platinum on your group registration form.

Of course not! Once your downpayment is made to secure you or your group’s spot you all can choose between the 12 or 8 month installment payment plans. All information is given in the Payment Information document

But of course! Not only will there be life jackets and flotation devices available, there will also be certified open-water life guards present to ensure everyone’s safety. And if even that doesn’t calm your nerves, you can always stay on the yacht.

At Come To The Islands we understand that this is a very real concern. We are LGBTQ+ community members and allies and are personally invested in community members’ safety.

Trinidad and Tobago are some of the more culturally progressive islands in the Caribbean when it comes to the safety and ability of community members to express themselves freely. During Carnival time, which has been a historically safe queer expressive space for us, the atmosphere and presence of foreign nationals has made Trinbagonians focus on their own sense of joy and expression whilst being kind and welcoming to people from all walks of life. Even with this, we have chosen our events and partners so that safety WILL NOT be an issue.

Although it is presented in our registration form, if you desire, you can send us your chosen name and pronouns in your registration email so we know how to properly address you. For our non-binary folks and people of trans experience, you can choose which ‘gendered’ Carnival costume you would like to play in and we will register you as such because we are committed to affirming your representation of your authentic self.
